STEM Club Students Achieve Bronze CREST Award

Congratulations to the 21 students who, during our 2023/24 STEM Club, achieved their Bronze CREST Award by completing a 10-hour personal project.

This involved them designing their own investigation and recording their findings, which gave them a taste of what it is like to be a scientist or engineer in the real-world.

The project process develops enquiry, problem-solving and communication skills and the Bronze CREST Award can be used by students to enhance their UCAS personal statements for universities.

The projects submitted include:

  • Sunday League - Offside
  • Drink Development
  • Dog Poo Robot
  • How Soils Effect Plant Growth
  • Microplastics
  • Golf Ball Designs
  • Video Game Console Development
  • Adaptations
  • Renewable Energy

Well done!
