Key Stage 3 Science
Students in Years 7-8 will have three termly assessments in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
In Year 9 students will receive end of topic assessments in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, when a topic is completed.
Key Stage 4 Science
Students in Years 10-11 will receive end of topic assessments in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, when a topic is completed.
Most students will follow the Combined Science GCSE, some students will follow the Triple Science GCSE.
Combined Science GCSE
Exam Board: Edexcel
- Students will be assessed by six exam papers (two exams in each discipline)
- Duration: 70 minutes each
Triple Science GCSE
Exam Board: Edexcel
- Students will be assessed by six exam papers (two exams in each discipline)
- Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes each
