What are you doing now?Kelly.jpg

I’m a Production Coordinator at Gobstopper TV, working on a weight loss show for Channel 4. My previous credits include Come Dine With Me, Big Brother and The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

I left South Craven School in 2012 and studied English Literature at Liverpool John Moores University. I was actually accepted on to Red Kite’s PGCE course to become a teacher and was going to choose South Craven as my first choice placement school.

Unfortunately I was diagnosed with breast cancer so withdrew my application, but I was looking forward to trying something new!

What advice would you give your 17-year-old self?

When I was 17 I was panicking about what I wanted to study, what I wanted to be or what I wanted for lunch, so my biggest advice I would give myself would be to stop worrying about what hasn’t happened yet - it’s okay to be indecisive and change your mind a hundred times.

I would also tell myself to stop being my own worst critic, be kinder to myself and have more confidence behind my decisions.

What are you most proud of?

When I see my name on TV credits as Production Coordinator!
