Information Technology (IT) involves the use of computers in computing industry, commerce, design and the arts – in fact, almost every aspect of the modern working life.
In Sixth Form we offer an exciting programme of study that enables you to create IT systems to manage and share information. This course will enable you to progress to a wide range of higher education courses in IT & Computing, or go directly into employment.
If you are interested in learning how to create IT systems to manage and share information, this course is for you. Alongside other fields of study, this course will give you the opportunity to progress to a wide range of higher education courses in IT & Computing. The Extended Certificate is equivalent to one A Level.
Entry Requirements
Grade 4 in GCSE Computing OR Merit in OCR iMedia Level 2 OR
any other equivalent Technical Award Qualification
Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics
