Facilities
We are proud of the fantastic facilities we offer across all subject areas and on campus, some of which are exclusive to Sixth Form students.
Sixth Form Centre
We have a dedicated Sixth Form Centre, exclusive to Sixth Form students only. Students are welcome to socialise in the Centre during break, lunch and free periods, if they wish.
Across the Centre are TV screens to keep you up to date with current events and life at South Craven. There is also a space with several computers with Internet access, ready for you to work.
The Hatch
In the Sixth Form Centre, The Hatch is a refectory exclusive to Sixth Form students and staff only.
The Hatch serves hot and cold food, snacks, drinks and daily specials.

Study Support Centre
Sixth Form students have timetabled study sessions as part of their programme of learning. These take place in the Sixth Form Study Support Centre, which is managed by our Study Support Manager, Mrs Clough.
As well as having the time to get up to date with your work, you can also seek assistance from Mrs Clough with issues such as time management and organisation of your workload.
Learning Resource Centre (LRC)
Our well-resourced and fully equipped LRC includes a computer area and quiet work space, which Sixth Form students can use throughout the day.
The LRC also has a private meeting room, which can be made available to you through a booking process.
Fells Theatre
Based in the centre of the campus, Fells Theatre is a state-of-the-art lecture theatre, where the majority of assemblies and guest talks are held.
Fells Theatre also boasts professional sound and lighting, and is used for school productions. Students studying a Performing Arts subject may also use Fells Theatre in their lessons.
Careers Hub
Our Careers Hub (Dales Building) is available to any student in the school who require advice on education, careers, apprenticeships and more.
Mrs Burton, our Careers Coordinator, is on hand to discuss future pathways with students and answer any questions or queries they may have.
