Continuing Excellence in GCSE and BTEC Results

We are pleased to report the brilliant achievements by our Year 11 students in their GCSEs and other qualifications this summer.

Congratulations to all the students for their hard work, resilience and dedication after such a difficult and disrupted school year. As Headteacher I am incredibly proud of their achievements and want to congratulate both the top performers and the students who have made the most progress during their time at South Craven. We are looking forward to welcoming many students back into South Craven Sixth Form or supporting their progression on to other colleges or apprenticeship courses.

This year following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard, approved and awarded by exam boards.

"Students have faced challenging circumstances with maturity, resilience and determination. it's been a real privilege to support them throughout their south craven journey. it was fantastic to hear from so many students on results day and to see their excitement and plans for their next steps.
well done year 11 , we are all very proud of you!"

Finally, as well as congratulating students I want to extend congratulations and thanks to parents, who have provided so much support during the last two challenging years. I would also like to thank the staff at South Craven School, who have worked so hard to support the students and make these results possible.
