What are you doing now?
I’m living in Spain and am in my third and final year of my degree studying Musical Theatre at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona.
I’m loving living in Spain and it’s been such an amazing experience. The thing I found most surprising about living here is how the Spanish live on a daily basis, and how different it is to the UK. They also have a very different lifestyle and culture – there are massive carnivals and a new festival on every weekend… although I do obviously have a lot of university hours as well!
What advice would you give your 17-year-old self?
Make the most of every opportunity you are given during Sixth Form.
Also, if you are unsure and conflicted about what you want to do when you leave South Craven you shouldn’t worry at all - over the next two years you will have so many opportunities to work out what you want to do.
What are you most proud of?
I’m proud of taking the opportunity to move abroad as it was a massive jump.
Spain has such a different environment, culture and lifestyle and I feel so lucky to have been able to experience so much!
