The DfE have issued new statutory guidance with regard to attendance, punctuality and absence. ‘Working Together to Improve School Attendance’ (August 2024).
If you are considering taking your child out of school during term time, please ensure that you read the statutory guidance, which has made some dramatic changes to the way the local authority can prosecute.
