Applied Psychology

Through this qualification, you will be introduced to the different Approaches in Psychology and how they may be used to explain issues in society such as aggression, consumer/employer behaviour and gender.

As Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour, you will learn about a range of research methods, how they may be used, and how they have contributed to society. You will also design and carry out your own small scale study.

In addition, you will learn how Health Psychology explains and treats stress and addiction; and how Criminal Psychology attempts to explain and change criminal behaviour. You will also learn about different methods of offender profiling and will create your own offender profile from a case study.
