South Craven School is delighted to report the fantastic achievements by Year 11 students in their GCSE and level 2 vocational qualifications this year.
We are so pleased with the brilliant set of results achieved by the year group especially considering the amount of disruption they have faced in the last two years.
Headteacher Martyn Hill said, “We are so proud of the achievements of Year 11 and I want to congratulate each and every one of the students for their hard work, resilience and amazing attitude to their learning. The cohort have made tremendous progress during their five years with us and I would like to congratulate and thank parents who have provided us with great support especially in the past two years, I would also like to thank the staff at South Craven who have worked so hard every day with the students to make these results possible.”
Head of Year 11 Vicky Johnson said, “I would like to wish Year 11 all the best as these past three years have been challenging for the students academically and emotionally. It is a credit to them all how well they have done and as always, I am very proud of their achievements. I know they will continue to go from strength to strength and it has been a pleasure to be part of their journey”.
Many Year 11 students will now be returning to South Craven in September to start Sixth Form courses, whilst we will be supporting others on their progression to local colleges and apprenticeships.
